This is just the sign up format, do not start the story here.
Backstory:
Due to the corruptive influence of the Number cards, something has gone wrong with the D-pads. Rather than creating a digital replica of the world and allowing the cards to interact with that, the Numbers have unlocked some sort of hidden potential of the D-pads, allowing them to interact directly with the real world. Needless to say, this has had some consequences from unscrupulous individuals utilizing this power to wreak havoc. So are you a person who has lost something to these power-mad psychotics, or are you one of them. The War of the Numbers has begun!
When you sign up for this please do so in the following format:
Name: (What you wish to be called in the RP)
Appearance: (What you look like)
Numbers: (What Numbers you have, explained below)
Background: (How did you enter the War of the Numbers)
Objective: (What your character hopes to do)
Well, this is how it's going to run, everyone must choose a Number Card as their signature card or their ace. If we run out of Numbers you will be allowed to make your own numbers and card names. There can only be 3 of each number in the story. You don't have to be the good guy and adventure with everyone. You can live a totally different storyline and live the evil life, but the good guys have to be coming to defeat you or something. Our duels will be on DN. We will be dueling each other within the storyline. You can add minor characters to duel with from time to time, but those characters do not affect your Numbers. This is in the Zexal Series, but we still have some modern day stuff, like McDonalds and stuff.
Rules
1. Number cards: If you decide to start out on the side of the number possessed (i.e. wanting to cause massive amounts of chaos for whatever reason), you can either start out with three of the same Number or two different Numbers. Players opposite the number possessed start out with one Number. There are only three copies of each number in existence. If you lose a duel, the winner takes one of your Numbers. This will be explained further down under corruption.
2. Decks: No OTK, FTK, Six Samurai, Blackwing, Exodia, Stall, Macro, or Dark World. If you choose the two Number option, you deck must be designed to bring those numbers out.
3. Corruption: When a player with a Number card loses, their opponent takes one of their Number cards. If the person started with three of the same number loses, one of them is taken by the winner and the other two are distributed to random people. If you started with the option of having two different numbers, when you lose all your Number cards, you are unable to gain new Number cards from winning duels. Otherwise, if you lose while not having a number card, you are unable to win new Number cards from duels.
4. Influence: You are not allowed to influence other people's character's without their consent. You can however give someone else a Number card for services rendered in the RP or because you want to be nice. Those who started with three copies of the same number are not allowed to give only one copy of that Number away though. It's all of them at once or none given. If you have become unable to obtain new Number cards and are given a Number by someone else or by the random distribution of Number cards, you are once again able to obtain new Number cards.
5. Minor characters: Due to requests from other members of the RP, you are allowed to control a (1) minor character that has a deck and can duel. However, they cannot start with a number, and people the minor character duels with do not lose a number against them. If the minor character wins three duels in a row, they obtain a Number and become a major character, with all perks involved. If they lose three duels in a row, they are permanently incapacitated (However you like), and are unable to duel ever again.
Other than that, feel free to state the devastation of the effects of the duels, and any other results that might occur due to the War of the Numbers.
